A Deadly Contest
The three finalists in a local Elvis
Impersonation Contest, sponsored by WEAP 1300 AM - “All
Elvis all the Time” & The Blair Mansion Inn,
are about to compete to become the one, true, local
Velvet Elvis. With all the glory that goes with this,
things turn deadly! They fail to realize that
talent is never enough to win the day. (If you heard
these finalists sing you would understand why) Corruption,
extortion, deceit, obsession, and murder stand in their
way.
Start with a despicably corrupt MC who is attempting
to extort cash or travelers checks from the various
contestants. Add an opening act with a power hungry,
greedy psychic who knows what might happen.
The contest begins. Songs are sung, barbs are slung,
tension mounts and one meets a untimely demise. Is
it Major Cashman. Could it be Mysty Mama? How about
one of the three competing Elvi? Might it be Dr. Sound?
Maybe one of the audience members?
And who is responsible for this suspicious crime?
When all is said and done we will need your help to
solve it.
